The CEO confirmed that correspondence has been sent to The Hon Natalie Hutchins, MP,
Minister for Local Government, and to the CEO of the City of Greater Geelong consistent
with the 24 February 2016 Council meeting resolution.
The CEO added that the Council Resolution of the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 24
February contains details of Council’s request to the Minister. Consistent with that
resolution the Minister has been requested to establish a local government panel to
conduct a review of the municipal boundary between the Borough of Queenscliffe
and the City of Greater Geelong. Responsibility now rests with the Minister and we will
await her further advice.

The CEO advised that all questions lodged successfully received an in-screen confirmation
and offered to provide an example of one of these confirmations for Councillors and the
questioner.
The current in-screen response system can be further modified to include an email
response if required and the CEO advised he will ensure that this option is considered in
the evaluation.
