The CEO responded that Council has had no contact with the newly appointed administrators at
CoGG and has had no further contact with or from the Minister for Local Government.
Council officers have commenced the preparation of the research paper as requested at the
February 2016 Ordinary Council meeting. Responsibility for appointing a panel rests with the
Minister for Local Government and Council has not received any advice regarding this matter from
the Minister.
